The Organizing Committee of the held a steering committee meeting and selected sculptor Jeon Hang-seop, a graduate of Seoul National University's Department of Sculpture and Graduate School of Art, as the 27th World Peace Art Exhibition Steering Committee Chairman.
Yoon Song-ah, who majored in Western painting at Hongik University's Department of Painting, made her acting debut in 2005 as the main character of the SBS children's drama "English Magic School" and has since appeared in numerous dramas and movies, was selected as PR ambassador.
After garnering attention for her roles as Ms. Yang in SBS's "Miss Ma," Naomi in OCN's "Voice 3," and Shin So-jung in KBS2's "Secret Man," Yoon also played the lead role of Kwon Yuri in Dong-A TV's "Diamond Hotel.”
She was the youngest Korean artist to participate in the '2013 Carrousel du Louvre Are Shopping' at the Louvre Museum in Paris, where she exhibited her works 'Camel and the Moon' and 'Camel and the Sun' and received the 'Young Artist Award' honor from the prestigious International André Malraux Friendship Association in France, and last month, she was invited by the British Royal Family to exhibit at the 'King Charles III Coronation Art Festival' at the Landmark Arts Center in London.
The Steering Committee will select and announce the Steering Committee Chairperson and Steering Committee members for each department in the near future.
The 27th World Peace Art Exhibition will be open for artwork submissions from July 5-10 and will be held from August 21 to 26 at the Maru Art Center Special Exhibition Hall in Insadong, Seoul.
