Kim Keon pays a courtesy call on Mongolian foreign minister

Kim attends the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue designed to promote peace and security in Northeast Asia

Kim Keon, head of the Office of Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs who is visiting Mongolia to attend the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue, paid a courtesy call on Mongolian Foreign Minister Batmunkh Battsetseg on June 17.

 

 

Minister Battsetseg expressed his appreciation for Kim's participation in the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue and said that Mongolia will continue to develop the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue as a venue that contributes to the promotion of peace and security in Northeast Asia. 


He also said that Mongolia is faithfully implementing international laws on nuclear non-proliferation and pursuing a foreign policy that values democracy, human rights, and multilateral cooperation, and that the two countries will continue to cooperate in various ways for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in the region.


Kim expressed his appreciation for the Mongolian government's consistent support for the South Korean government's North Korea policy, including its bold initiatives, and expressed his expectation of the Mongolian government's active role in helping North Korea make the right choice.
